From 18 November 2025, under the new reforms introduced by Companies House, it becomes a legal requirementfor the identities of all company directors, shareholders, and persons with significant control (PSCs) to be formally verified.

As your authorised accountants, CAPITAL EMPIRE LTD is officially registered as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) and is supervised by HMRC. This authorisation enables us to verify your identity in compliance with Companies House regulations.

Once verification is completed, Companies House will display CAPITAL EMPIRE LTD as the official verifying agent of your company. This confirms your status as a verified individual and ensures there will be no further queries from Companies House regarding your identity.

• It is a statutory obligation. Without successful verification, we will not be permitted to file company accounts, tax returns, confirmation statements, or any other documentation on your behalf.
• It is a one-time verification valid for your lifetime (unless your personal details change).
• Your verification records will be securely stored by us for 7 years, in accordance with legal requirements.

1. Provide two identification documents (at least one must be from Group A – see list below).
2. Complete payment for the verification service.
3. Attend a short video call with our team to confirm your identity.

Acceptable Documents for Identity Verification

You must provide at least 2 documents, including at least 1 from Group A:

Group A (photographic ID):

• Passport
• UK biometric residence permit (BRP)
• UK or EU photocard driving licence
• National ID card with biometric data (EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein)
• Photographic visa or work permit
• HM Forces ID / Frontier Worker Permit
• PRADO-recognised photographic ID (e.g. Pakistan ID, South Africa crew card, US Green Card)

Group B (proof of address or civil status):

• Bank or building society statement
• Utility bill (current address)
• Council tax or mortgage statement
• UK tenancy agreement (social or private)
• Birth, marriage or civil partnership certificate
• Non-photographic immigration document

We strongly advise completing the verification process without delay to ensure uninterrupted compliance with UK corporate law.
